Meet the Team
These are the fab people who make things happen at Open Arms. We’re a crazy bunch who are absolutely dedicated to our jobs (it’s not really a job being here as we have far too much fun)!! We refer to ourselves as a “nutty work family” and together rise to any challenge.
A completely useless piece of information: between us we have a HUGE 200 years plus of experience in the care sector! Makes us sound far too old…
Tracey
Owner/Director of Open Arms with years of personal and professional experience in care, enjoys a challenge and gives it 110%.

Wayne
Community Support worker – joined us a few years back as a volunteer but couldn’t imagine not being here now! Wayne’s a bit quiet (till you get to know him) but genuinely cares and does an amazing job.

Sami’s fantastic personality shines through ….. can’t imagine why it stands out so much. Great sense of fun and happy to get stuck in, Sami is another very welcome addition to the team ????
Marie
Community and in house Support Worker: Marie has a great rapport with her clients and brings a lot of experience to the table, together with her ‘can do’ approach she’s fun to be around a great source of entertainment.
Rene
Gentle and one of the most caring people we’ve come across, Rene is our Dementia Champion who takes the lead in the service for some of our older community members; brings passion and compassion to the team.

Sarah
Community and in house Support Worker – A Selbian through and through, Sarah’s direct and hands on approach make her a favourite with lots of our community based clients. Sarah is our go to for information on who’s who in the area.
Karl
Community and in house Support Worker: there is nothing which phases Karl, he’s so laid back he should be horizontal! BSL qualified as well as the other attributes he brings to the team.
Richard
A member of the team who brings not only a fab Scottish accent but also years of experience, knowledge and obvious dedication to add to the mix.
